For those who don’t know, Thug Life = 2Pac & Friends.
This was one of the first MP3s I ever downloaded. It was 1997 and I had just discovered digital music. “CD-quality” files encoded at 128kbps. Wow.
With my connection at the time it would take around thirty minutes for a three minute song to completely download. But it was worth it to discover music I would have never heard otherwise in small town Kansas.
I still remember Winamp acting all crazy everytime my dial-up was trying to connect. Ah, the memories… LOL
