I stumbled across this picture from Queensday 2006 earlier and it brought back some good memories of living in Amsterdam.
Max stuntin’ in the background = WIN
FYI, Queensday almost feels like one huge sidewalk sale.  When we found the Anal Terror lunchbox we knew it was our destiny to carry it around with us for the rest of the day.  It was literally a rusty old metal box with “Anal Terror” written on it with a permanent marker and it only cost two euro.  Amazing.  Obviously.

2ge+her - U + Me = Us (Calculus)

I had their album. And a single.

10ish years later and I still remember all the lyrics.

I think I still have both of their albums, too.

This brings back memories of when I was absolutely obsessed with my Calc teacher.  I had to take all my assignments home because I couldn’t concentrate during class.  I’d just spend the hour pestering him like some little kid with a crush not knowing how to act.

Still managed to get an “A” that year though. ;-)

Fuck you, Marc Summers. The Wild & Crazy Kids will destroy you and the Double Dare crew

I freaked out a few months back when I found out that Omar is the little brother of Cuba Gooding, Jr. and is putting out a rap CD.

This clip brings back gooood memories. LOL

Do you ever see an old photo and wonder “whatever happened to that shirt?”
I got that Kangol shirt for five quid from a TK Maxx*.  I loved it.  Then one day it vanished from my collection.
I reckon it was somebody at the student laundry I always went to.
Here I am rocking it with friends in Amsterdam, circa March 2003.
If it was truly meant to be, I’ll find you again someday. LOL
*Yeah, in the UK it’s not TJ Maxx. Weird, I know.

I was more of a Square One TV fan but deny Reading Rainbow and LeVar Burton a bit of shine. LOL

I found one of my senior photos on an old flash drive.
TRUE FACT:  One of the few times in my life I’ve blatantly broken the law involved Second Story Studio when I was twelve.

I was a latchkey kid and PBS was my babysitter.  That probably explains my eternal love for Square One (don’t worry, I’ll inevitably post some Mathnet clips).

The other hotness was Ghostwriter, a weekly serial about kids who solve mysteries with the help of a ghost who could only communicate by manipulating the text that was around him.  Awesome, right?  I was only ten when it first started but I couldn’t wait for Saturday afternoon just to see what Jamal and the gang would do next.

Anyway, one of the story arcs centered around Lenni and her music video shoot for her single “You Gotta Believe.”  Mikell blew my mind the other day by dropping the actual video on my Facebook.  It won’t really mean anything to those of you who never saw the show but it’s a nice little time capsule from the early 90’s.
