Some day I want to make the Back-2-Bakula Film Festival happen.

It was an idea I had at KU* for SUA but no one ever took it seriously. Just like my idea in 2003 to bring some news guy called Anderson Cooper and you see where that guy is now!

But anyway, the format of the festival is basically just showing Lord of Illusions and Necessary Roughness together. I’d probably program the comedy before the horror film but it’s hard to tell which is which, especially since one possesses the acting talents of Sinbad.

Come on, Scott. Let’s make this happen!

*Scott Bakula went to KU for a few years. So the idea for the festival wasn’t totally random.

FYI, Scott Bakula fans are pretty intense.

I put mine up on Craigslist because I don’t use it as much anymore since my Canon point-and-shoot takes video of a similar quality. One less gadget to carry. That and I’m still broke as a joke so every little bit helps!

If you are interested in the Flip but don’t live in the Bay Area, let me know anyway as shipping wouldn’t be an issue.

I <3 Gene Kelly.

Even though Singin’ in the Rain is one of my top-three films of all time that I have watched a countless amount, I had never seen it on the big screen until New Year’s Day when it was playing at the Castro Theatre. It was amazing! I actually got goosebumps when the the title screen appeared. Yeah, I’m a geek like that. LOL

Seeing one of my favorite films at one of my favorite cinemas: a great way to start 2K9.
